Privacy Policy
Information the app stores on your device
The following is written to your phone's private app storage. It never leaves the device, is not readable by other apps, and is deleted when you uninstall Cross Math:
- Your level progress, current difficulty and any partly finished boards
- Daily Challenge history, streak count and calendar
- Hint balance and achievements
- Your settings — theme, board style, sound, vibration and reminder time
We have no copy of any of this and no way to retrieve it. If you uninstall the app or clear its data, it is gone permanently.
Advertising
Cross Math shows ads supplied by Google AdMob. To do that, the AdMob SDK collects a limited set of data directly — the app does not read it or receive it:
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Advertising ID and device identifiers | To select and measure ads |
| Approximate device information | Ad delivery and fraud prevention |
| Ad interactions (views, taps) | Measurement and billing |
Google's handling of this data is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in Android's Settings → Privacy → Ads. Doing so breaks the link between past ad activity and your device.
Consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland
If you are in a region covered by the GDPR, Cross Math shows Google's consent form before the first ad is requested, and records your choice. You can change it at any time from Settings → Privacy choices inside the app.
Purchases
Cross Math offers one optional purchase, Remove ads. Payment is handled entirely by Google Play. The app is told only whether the purchase is active — it never sees your name, card details or billing address, and it stores none of them.
Notifications
If you turn on the daily reminder, the notification is created and scheduled on your own device. Nothing is sent to a server and no push service is involved — which is why it still works with no internet connection. You can disable it in the app's Settings, or in Android's notification settings.
Playing offline
Cross Math is fully playable with no internet connection. With no connection, no ad is requested and no data leaves your device at all.
Children
Cross Math is rated for ages 13 and over and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Analytics and crash reporting
This version of Cross Math contains no analytics SDK. Aggregate crash and performance data may be provided to us by Google Play itself, as it is for every app on the store; that data is collected by Google, not by this app.
